BOERNE — The Canyon volleyball team recovered from a two-game deficit to rally past Boerne Champion in five games Friday. Seniors Lark Miller and Lisa Bingham paced the Cougarettes past the Chargers, combining for 39 kills in the district-opening win. Canyon won, 23-25, 17-25, 25-16, 26-24, 15-13.
